Invert Paving
American West Construction, LLC (AWC) offers targeted, cost effective solutions to restore aging culverts. Throughout the past two decades, AWC has rehabilitated hundreds of culverts with a variety of trenchless techniques. Because most culverts/sites have unique circumstances, culvert rehabilitation is not a “one size fits all” application.
A cost-effective solution for culverts with compromised inverts is invert paving. AWC has successfully completed numerous projects using a variety of techniques to reestablish inverts providing owners with added life for their infrastructure. Techniques for the invert paving include cast in place concrete inverts, geosynthetic cementitious composite mats (GCCM), and shotcrete linings.
This cost-effective approach preserves flow capacity and improves structural integrity while minimizing disruption and cost. This technique can be a great option for culverts in need of limited invert repair.
