US 160 Priority Culverts
The US 160 project was initiated to address the critical need for repairing and improving the drainage infrastructure along the US 160 travel corridor. This section was specifically targeted due to its advanced state of deterioration. The project encompassed work at nine distinct locations along the corridor. Key components of the project included:
- Installation of a 72”x260’ Geosynthetic Cementitious Composite Mat (GCCM) lining.
- A 72”x48”x130’ GCCM lining.
- Replacement and repair (R&R) of 103 linear feet of 48” Reinforced Concrete Pipe (RCP), accompanied by riprap and headwalls.
- A 48”x159’ GCCM lining.
- R&R of a 48”x114’ RCP, including riprap and headwalls.
- Two separate installations of a 48” GCCM lining.
- R&R of 100 linear feet of 48” RCP, with riprap and headwalls.
- Construction of a double cell 72” concrete structure with invert paving and riprap.
The project used specified materials and methods depending on the existing damage to effectively restore and enhance the drainage infrastructure.
